S & G: 2008 Ballpoint pen on cardboard 3x9” In an effort to be more productive, I always try to carry some piece of art or another on me at all times. This piece was started on Father’s Day while I sat in my car and waited for Mom to come home from church. This piece is one of many small drawings being produced to act as scenic supplements-vignettes, if you will-to add to the understanding of my now-3-years-in-progress painting of the Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. I’m trying to combine my crazy handdrawn work, pixellation, polygonal drawing, and pre-renaissance non-perspectival landscape drawing in a hopefully overall frenzied and chaotic piece celebrating man’s destruction. Woo hoo! © Ashley Anderson
